Hello, and welcome to my blog. I am Ramses, an 11 week old poodle puppy, and boy do I have a story to
tell! You see, until this week I thought I had everything figured out. I woke up in the morning and was carried outside to spend the day playing with my brothers and one sister. At night, we would all snuggle in with my mom, and wake up to repeat it all over again.
But then a few days ago my whole world changed. This new person came and spent a long time staring at the puppies and playing with us. She took each of us away separately, and threw a toy, held us in her arms, played tug with us, and looked at us all over. She took me out over and over again, watching how I ran after the ball and brought it back (it was fun!) and that I liked to stay with her instead of the other puppies. Finally, she picked me up and said I was the right one. Whatever that was. She carried me out to this weird house on wheels and I rode for a long time. By this time I was so sleepy I couldn't keep my eyes open.
When I finally woke up, it was dark out and I was being carried into a new kennel. I was amazed to see 2 other weird looking dogs - their hair wasn't curly! Nothing looked or smelled like home, but I was surrounded by smiling people, and toys! Before today I'd never had toys all the time. Now everywhere I looked there were bones, stuffed toys, balls! How bad could this be. But there were scary noises, and those new dogs were really scary too! Everything was so new, but I think this whole new experience is gonna rule!
